Born in Park City Utah and raised in Salt Lake City, at the age of 17 Gene Bates followed his father's footsteps by learning every aspect of the glazing trade. Now with 40 years of experience, Gene takes pride in his quality work,
quick turn around time and excellent follow through.

Though he specializes in European style shower doors, Gene has been the
lead Glazier for many high profile projects including the glass handrails of the
new S.L.C. Library, showers and mirrors for over 800 rooms of the Grand-
America Hotel, custom projects for the Parade of Homes and is currently
one of the preferred Glaziers for Ivory Homes.
